Florence, Italy, October 2013 - Powersoft announced that Karl Kahlau has joined the company as of October 1, 2013, in the position of Regional Account Manager.

A significant part of his work will be to strengthen the Powersoft sales team and its ability to support the export distribution network. Areas of responsibility are principally sales, market development and promotion of rack mounted amplifiers in selected regions in Scandinavia, German speaking countries, Middle East and Northern Africa.

Karl brings with him over two decades of experience within export pro-audio, where for more than 12 years he was responsible for sales and marketing at Renkus-Heinz Inc, California, USA, where he held the position of Export Sales Manager EMEA. In addition to this position, Karl's most recent line of work consisted of three years with Scandinavian pro audio and MI distributor Luthman SMTTS AB as Senior Project Manager and later as Marketing Manager Pro Audio. In this position he gained extensive experience in efficient distribution, project management and sales to the retail sector.

In his work with Renkus-Heinz Inc. he pioneered sales in Europe and Middle East on electronically steerable self-powered and networked loudspeakers systems. During this time Karl has furthered the course of high quality, premium performance loudspeaker installations, attracting numerous noteworthy references.

Karl will handle selected countries in Europe as well as our Middle East and Northern African territories.
